If you are planning keeping it then how about an XJ-R...

If you're looking to make a few shillings then stick the money away somewhere safe, you've been lucky once making a profit, you could be lucky a second time, but in this economic climate the car industry is down on its knees at the moment.

I'm off to see a Daimler this morning, fancy something to tinker with now that the FFRR is all sorted Whistle

Fiat Coupe 20vt can be had for that money an in half decent nick. Keep it for a bit and then move it on before things start breaking. The speed is scarey even in standard form once moving. It's 0-60 is poo thought because they just can't put the power down quick enough.

Failing that an mx5!?
Maybe a mini?
A Suzuki vitara for some off road playing?
A Renault 19 16v?
A Renault Clio 16v ph1/2?
A Peugeot 205/309 gti (1.6)?
A Citroen Xantia Activa?

There's a few to think about Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

That was one car that sprung to mind John but finding one that has been well looked after and with FSH is pretty hard...had a XKR conv a couple of years back and loved it but that was serious money this is a bit of fun that if it goes wrong won't have me looking for a rope and branch!!! Laughing

Id be more worried about passing any police sniffer dogs in them with any residual 'deliveries' inside or failed boom booms either!!! And can imagine the fuel bills would put the sexlus to shame never mind much else!! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

You got it wrong Jim, this is perfect for driving around sunny Tayside delivering the 'luckybags' and it will make more money than doing the Arfur Daley bit Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

If you want another quick profit why not get a half decent 4x4 and sell it when the snow comes?

Maybe a Freelander? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

I'll report back, the vendor has owned it since it was 2 years old, says it's in great nick, but everyones idea of good condition is different.

If it's good enough I'll offer him a silly price and take it from there Whistle
