2015 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Santorini Black
Like others before me

Well it has been all of 6 months without a RR after the best part of 12 years with one (many!) and like others before me I am falling off the wagon. So its time to get another.

Having previously owned both petrol / LPG converted and diesel I have already decided it has to be petrol. Especially as the LPG thing doesn't scare me and the 4.4 appear to be a great buy at the moment.

My questions are however
1. Pre face list BMW engine - Is this better to convert to LPG than the post faceliftt Jag ?
2. Face list with 100K or pre face lift with less ?
3.When did the tax go up 2006 ?
4.I know I can fit an Intervee II to a pre face lift but what about a post face lift. What are my options to integrate an ipod ?

Looking to spend circa £10K - £12K if anyone has a good one and if I get LPG conversion included all the better.

Would like factory tint and towbar but relaxed on colours

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

From what I was told by various specialists, the BMW engine is the better one for LPG.

Can't answer 2 or 3.

I gather Intravee won't work on post facelift models. I did have Intravee (2002 model FFRR) but had it removed in favour of Alpine's Ezi-DAB which gives me DAB and iPod integration but at the expense of a little 2" square display screen that I've had discretely mounted just in front of the gearlever. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

Get the Jag engine. It's more efficient, you get 6 speeds and a better gearbox.

There's lots of internetvwisdom to say that the Jag engine has soft valves and will spontaneously melt down once it gets a sniff of LPG, but there are a few S/c owners who would disagree.

Many of them have now Benin running on LPG for 3years.

If the S/c can run on LPG the na will be even safer to convert.

However, if £12k is your budget and you'll pay for conversion on top, get a higher mileage S/c!

No question in my mind. They can take the mileage, you get around 30 mpg equivalent, and the best spec FFRR. Thumbs Up Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!
