My shiny car was parked legally in putney, last night some eejit managed to sideswipe it in either a van or 4x4 as the damage is high and not car height.

Massive scratch and dented Passenger and ns rear door, rear wheel, bumper, plastic mouldings, door handle, mud guard etc and on and on.

Bstards. Needless to say have not left details.

So goes down as my fault, and my excess.

Most expensive overnight space ever. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I'd try to insist that it goes to a Land Rover main dealer, rather than the insurer's own recommended repairers. Researching my first Range Rover purchase

No cctv, and apart from the large dents in the door skin and the scratched alloy
Tge rest will maybe cut out. However i suspect that 2 new doors will be the order of the day as they are large flat panels and filling may not be spot on. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Well, i now have a few quotes in for the repair, chartwell who are the authorised repair centre and do a lot of the higher end motors are just over a grand, and the others seem to be in at 650 ish

As no parts are needed and the doors are unlikely to rust as they are ally im tempted to go with the 650 ish quotes.

It is likely as good a finish as the auth body shop but without the coffee machine and bentley parked outside. One of them seemed like a very professional outfit and worth a go. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
