Have you checked the pad sensors just to be sure? One front and rear. There only about £6 might be worth changing them first just to eliminate a dodgy sensor. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

If something can't be fixed with a hammer....... You have yourself an electrical fault!

United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Bonatti Grey

So, went all the way to Southampton today with my new (used) instrument cluster to get the specialist to either fix mine or replace it with the new one. The "check brake pads" message came up on both clusters so the fault is definately not with the cluster. I'm going to have to go back to LLR Land Rover (who fitted the brake pads and told me the fault was with the cluster) and get them to check the sensors again. Lucky I didn't go with thier advice and fit a new one at £650!!!
The specialist told me that it could be the ecu in front of the battery, but not sure.

Nightmare!!!!!
