Squeaky belt on start up.

When I start my car from cold I get a slight belt squeak. (Car is a 2007 S/C). Once the car has been running for a few minutes it goes away.

I'm a bit sh*t when it comes to mechanics, but it sounds like it's the lower of the two belts as I look under the bonnet. I did put a little squirt of WD40 down there a week or so ago, and the squeak went immediately, but it came back very quickly. Confused

Is this something I can adjust myself? (Given that I'm about one grade above a monkey with a spanner). Rolling Eyes Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

You should NEVER spray WD40 on rubber belts as it deteriorates them, spray a little water on them to identify if that is the source of the squeak
