No, but I have never been a fan of putting anything additional in my engine oil.

The engine wasn't designed to run with it and adding anything actually slightly "thins out" your oil as it's less concentrated than what Land Rover ask you to put in.

No doubt it does have wonderous benefits that major multi-billion dollar oil companies have decided they don't need in their top spec products. But the placeebo effect is usually high in human beings.

Put me in the cynical camp. Laughing

Maybe, but a well looked after engine that has been run and serviced correctly will do 200k miles plus with minimal wear IMO. I can't see how so many Discos and RRS owners need to sort out engine wear issues...

I might put it in my 1934 Morris Ten, but not my modern high tech vehicle! Shocked

Wouldn't put it in a lawn mower TBH. Plenty of people use it in the USA - I used to live there. But then again, Americans use loads of this stuff and have plenty of Lube Shops in malls. it's big business over there...BUSINESS being the operative word. Designed to liberate a few more dollars from each gullible customer.

Look, if it was necessary or beneficial, LR would specify it and Castrol would add it to their A1 (or whatever) grade oil. It isn't, and they don't.

I'm not in the cynical camp, I'm firmly in the "Prove It" camp. To date, in 30 years of motoring I have never seen any scientific evidence to prove that any of these products work. Never! Bring it on......except none of them can.
