United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black
Bush Tucker Man and Land Rovers

Always loved watching Les Hiddins and just came across a website he is writing for himself (long overdue). There's not much in there but he has a long association with Jaguar Rover Australia and of course used the Army 110s in the first two series of Bush Tucker Man, and then a 110 Defender in the third series.

Here on this page he talks of his current personal car, the Disco 4 and his recent purchase of a new 110 Defender.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

Geeat read!

I was quite surprised by the amount of Land Rover's that I saw in Australia. There were a few old RR Classics and 110's used regularly where I lived - even the local tavern manager ran an immaculate 3.9 RRC and then also bought a 4.4 X5 to keep it company.

But every roadhouse I stopped at, there was usually the dismembered remains of an old Landcruiser there somewhere, but the enthusiasm for LR (and their reputation as highly capable offroad machines) was still very evident.

I also had to smile at BTM's fondness for Engel's. Mine has been round Africa a few times and leads a very quiet life with us these days. I don't know how old it is, but it's a fantastic bit of kit! It recently kept to temps of -10'C in 40'C heat in Spain. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
