Venture Cam not working?

Hello,

I checked the forum but couldn't find the answer so pardon me if the answer is there and i missed it. I just picked up my RR and it's my first one. I really don't know why I didn't get one before, I just love the beast !! Very Happy

Anyway, it has the venture cam but I am struggling to get it to work. The battery doesn't seem to be the issue. But I don't have the manual and I can't figure out the way to get it working.

Basically if I go on cam, then press the button on the cam i can bring a picture but it jumps around and when it stabilises itself it simply cuts out. I can redo the same thing over and over but cannot find a way to get the image to stay on stable for more than a couple of sec...

Anyone for help? Sad
thanks !! ------ 54 Vogue V8 ------

Sounds like your venture cam is knackered.

I see you're in Cambridge, if you want to pop over to Cambourne some time you can try mine to confirm.

Hi Justin

thanks for the reply and the offer. That's not cool that the cam is nackered... Crying or Very sad but I didn't even know it had one so I guess I won't miss it that much. It's got an after market built in one for reversing which is working very well so i'll stick with that for now. Any idea if venture cams can be repaired? or how much it cost to buy one? I can still use it as a torch though...

cheers

Would a second hand venture cam work as mine is missing or does it have to be paired to my car?
