Absolutely crazy! I've nothing against a facelift, but what sort of numpty would pay double what the cars worth?

You can get a genuine approved used 2010 tdv8 with lower miles for less money! What would you choose, a fake footballers bling wagon, or genuine younger real facelift model? Question Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

That's funny seeing that.

I've been converted about conversions Laughing and I was considering doing that exact facelift and OF conversion to my S/C, but having talked through the numbers with Craig I came to the same conclusion that bozmandb9 did.

Even though personally I wouldn't blow £4k on those OF wheel (I'd do the OF exchange programme and spend £2k on a set of Olympus) you still find yourself looking at a £10-12k spend.

Don't get me wrong, I'd then have a stunning looking S/C (and the 'go' would match the 'show') but for an additional £12k I could fund myself getting into a genuine MY2010 car. (Plus my car's only worth about £16/17k I reckon so it seems a little OTT to spend 75% of the value on what's effectively just tinsel).

AND the L405 will be out soon and then you won't even have the newest shape anyway.

All that said, it IS a lovely looking thing though. Droool..... Bow down Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

2011 FFRR 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - Overfinch Conversion

2018 AMG C63S Estate
2015 Mercedes GLE63S
2017 Maserati Levante Diesel

To me it doesnt look well finished. They've left the foundry grey in the interior, that would need to go for a start. Also they don't mention whether the flappy paddles work, and if not then that's inexcusable.

If they want proper money for this car, and to me that would be £25 k max, then it should be 100%. Thumbs Up Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

What concerns me about it most is that in section about the car details is states the year of manufacture as 2012.
It's only when you read the details, and its only mentioned once that it's a conversion, so I rather suspect they're hoping to catch out the unwary into thinking they're buying a 2012 car at a bargain price, not a faclifted 2007 car at twice its value!!! Many do...That said, many people spend £4-£5k and get an exact 2012 replica... On a nice example it works well and is a hell of alot cheaper than any 2010 FF...
