Look, I don't know nor particularly want to know the details/events leading up the ban.

Surely unless there were threats to kill/potentially actionable libel are we not adult enough to accept an indiscretion or two- given the huge amount of positive input 'The Doc' made in particular to this forum?

I am sure we've all heard/told stories/jokes etc which if mentioned to the wrong ears would cause great offence? I'm also sure we've occasionally lost our tempers over opinion clashes and 'lashed out' but lets face it two people sitting at computers exchanging vitriol is hardly cause for therapy!

I know you and RRUK do a great job of policing the forum and keeping it 'clean' and I'm sure all the members appreciate that and I thank you both again; but surely a blanket ban is a Pyrrhic victory?

If you're making an example I can see your point but unless the comments were particularly disturbing they are only words and I for one think it's a really great shame to turn away such a resource-both technically and in terms of 'banter'

Also if there were a personality clash on the Freel2 forum; are they also both members of the FullFat forum (again I'm not after names etc, it's merely a conceptual argument).

Sorry if overstepped my boundaries and if you want me to leave that's fine I just feel I had to say something as I think the forum here will be a little poorer without The/Das/El/Il Doc, wherever he comes from.
