Harman Kardon systems

How can I find out if my car has the Harman Karon sound system? It's a 2003/'03 Vogue with TV, SatNav and the DSP. Should the Harman Kardon logos be on the speaker grilles?

Just looking at a couple for sale that say they have the H/K system, yet the speakers look the same as mine with no badging and it's got me wondering if mine has it or not.

Me thinks you have Harmon Kardon speakers but not necessarily Logic 7 sound processor (which I have) Whistle Whistle

And it's the muts nuts Smile Currently running FFRR MY10 TDV8 3.6L and a Disco 3 XS Commercial (tank like but very effective as a Company van). Plus one mint condition Track Day Car in the form of an E36 M3 3.2L Evolution circa June 1996 with lots of go faster bits and only 52k miles on the clock! Oh, plus a few bits to make it slow down really quickly as well! Luvverly.

All UK vogues have the HK system, the only option was logic7. In 2006 they began to label the grills I think.

The early low spec SE's had a basic system that wasnt HK, but these are fairly rare.

HI been here recently, you have standard and logic 7, and you have logic 7 with dsp, if you have dsp it will show up as an option on the nav screen, dsp amps have 3 plugs on it and the logic 7 only has one..this is pre 05 we are talking..if you have logic 7 it should say on your speakers but if it dont then look to see if you have the extra speakers, i looked into putting the dsp amp in but didnt get much feed back on it, only that i would have to change a large part of the loom. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

So when you say the Logic 7, is that different to the DSP option on the main menu?

HK and DSP go hand in hand, you don't get one without the other.

There are 3 Audio trim levels:

Range Rover SE - Standard Stereo basic 6 speaker , HK upgrade an option to 12 speaker + DSP Amp
Range Rover Vogue - HK with DSP 12spks standard with Logic7 Upgrade

The logic7 was a rare upgrade as it wasn't "actively sold" in the dealerships. So if you have a Vogue you WILL have Harmon Kardon and may have Logic7.

If you look in the boot you will have a logic7 amp It's silver with a green sticker along one side.

That shows speakers in the rear pillars? So possibly is refering to the facelift RR, even though the one it shows is pre facelift?

Alternativly, if you have logic7 do you get speakers in the rear pillars?

Is quite simple, you look in the boot and out of the 3 or 4 ECU's that are all black, you'll see this:
