That's spooky, i was on Skye in the middle of last week touring too, though i stayed in the south west around Elgol and the Cuillins. I can't think of a better car to tour the Highlands in than an FF.

A bit of a long shot I know, but you're not staying with Duncan at the Dalriada Guesthouse by any chance? He's an Landrover man and I run his website for him. |

Skye suffers from it's own share of congestion.....last week I had to slow down for a herd of sheep on the road.....gave me a chance to admire the scenery even more than usual When we lived in Reading, I'd regularly travel up to Skye and the West Coast for short breaks. Never took tea bags with me, but took all the water I could carry back Mike |

No, we are fairly close by though.........staying up the back of the Cuillins Hotel at www.coolinlodge.co.uk - almost on our own, yet only a 10 min walk into Portree. Took a fantastic chartered boat ride to Raasay today (was only me, wife and 2 daughters), now that is the meaning of remote, hardly saw another person lol......then back to Portree for a well earned cold beer, just about to light the BBQ after another couple of cold ones.......RR covered in tree sap but I suppose it will wash with all that fresh water haha Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather..... |
