Air Suspension Inactive

Had a quick jaunt to the shops this morning and got the 'air suspension fault' come up.
At home had a look under the car and found the front passenger side suspension height linkage sheared off where it connects to the strut. Jacked the vehicle up and the ball joint linkage had corroded right through - so drilled out and using a 20mm long M6 Stainless nut and bolt with washers , effected a temporary working repair. However the suspension still comes up as faulted and I was wondering is it a trip to the dealers or is there something I can do myself - disconnect battery etc ? My dealer is a round trip of 40 miles ! Sad

Dear mercs600, only with clearing..., for example RSW all comms or GAP, or you can try to go to a BMW dealer, he has the same software.

Have you tried lock to lock on the steering wheel? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
