Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone could give me some advice.

I have a 2006 Vogue and the reversing camera only works when it wants to. I would say 1 in 100 times if im lucky. I took it too specialist who quoted a ridiculous amount to get it fixed and also said i need a new steering wheel, screen and god knows what else. Rather than remortgage i thought i might have a look at it myself.

Although its not that important, it is really getting on my nerves now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dan from duckworth parts is your man to get the bits from, pm him to get an up to date price.

IIRC it was about 90 for the camera, 5 for the mounting bracket and 30 for the harness.

wish i had found out this earlier!! just forked out £475 for a new camera, grrrrrrr!!!!!! Supercharged 4.2 FFRR in Buckingham Blue,
Gone, Ford Explorer 4.0 V6 petrol,
Gone, Ford Granada Estate Ghia,
Gone, Daimler sovereign 4.0,
Raced, more mk1 & 2 granada's, A60's mk1 cortina's and mk 3 zodiacs than i can remember!
If its too loud then you are too old!!!
