I know this will sound dumb, but you have fitted them the right way round haven't you (i.e. the left side on the left and the right...well on the right). Land Rover Addict

You can't fit them wrong re left/right. the mudflap wraps around the front of the step to finish them.

Silicone is probably what they'll suggest!! Mr. Green

Dans sorted me a decent price on some OE steps so if I can extract my cash back I'll put the steps on I should have in the first place. Whistle Lloyd Barnes

i might be able to find a set of AB sills kicking about, i'm sure they'd fit in that gap easy enough Whistle Laughing You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

I got a set from a seller in liverpool, they fit okay, but there is a square hole on both sides above the mudflaps in the inner arches! And the steps are not strong enough to be stood on to put bikes on the roof rack. Just afraid of them bending!

I had a similar fitment problem when I fitted mine (which were proper OEM from a forum member).

In the end the way to fix it was to use some thick spacers on the bolts, forcing them down towards the floor, which in turn forced the steps up and in. I think I ended up using about 2 / 3 inches of spacers on each bolt to get them level and tight.

Hmmm...just re-read that...not sure it makes sense...again...pretty difficult to explain but basically you can mess about with the bolts and fixings to get things to shift about into place. At least you could on mine. It was a ball ache though. Whistle Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

I bought these and they fit quite well although the supplied mudflaps are smaller than OEM and you need to fit some carrierplates to attach them. I put jacks under the main arms of the steps when attaching them which pushed them up against the weight of the vehicle before I tightened up the bolts. They ARE strong enough to stand on - I am over 15stones and they take my weight easily.
