No, the N/A 5.0 V8 has been replaced by the new supercharged V6 (which has the bizarre still-a-V8 block) Last edited by Philip on 23rd Jul 2012 9:57am. Edited 1 time in total |

Just a quick thought - I was under the impression that no one could use the 405 number as it is registered with Peugeot ! Porshe originally badged thier 911 as a 901 and Peugeot took them to court over it ! - as I said just a thought/observation |

I wonder if the engine will be significantly different than the current one to improve economy?, with the much lighter weight over the L322 and a bit more power the new petrol variant could be Cayenne Turbo quick whilst keeping the FFRRs off road ability, a sure winner I would say. |

It's just a model code, like L322. Not sure the flaky late '80s French vibe is what they want to channel. |

Yes but the 5L Supercharged is here to stay with Jaguar and Range Rover, the naturally-aspirated V8 has been replaced by the V6 but I think it is unlikely the top of the range Supercharged model will be replaced by a V6. |
