Sail in style ...

Just back from Puerto Banus after a couple of weeks , so took a stroll down to the actual Port and there was some sort of shindig going on in and around the Marina with numerous boats and small ships ……

But this one was just moored outside the Marina as it was too big to get in ……….

Don't know who owns it , or the name of it , plus i only had the poxy iPhone to take a picture of it ….

But what a Boat …. Whistle

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

Its called simply "A" after his wife. (see below)

I think its the most amazing looking boat on the water at the moment. Heads above all the others owned by roman and crew.

Price: $323 million
Owner: Andrey Melnichenko, Russia
Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko is the owner of this water giant, which is 390 feet in total length. The unique name of the yacht has been inspired by name of the owner’s wife, Aleksandra who has a private 80 foot long top deck to enjoy her sun bathing adventures. There is also a helipad in case Mr. Melnichenko needs to fly down in his private chopper or leave for his official duties into main lands. A lot of flooring in the master suite and the bathrooms are known to be done up in marble, apart from featuring designer fittings all over the living space, which includes the private staircase and lift. The unique shape of the boat is also known to cut through ice bergs if the need arises but is perfectly well suited for cruises in the Mediterranean waters.

That's utterly hideous. Why can't the world's naval architects (of wot I am one) reliably come up with ships that are beautiful, especially when gifted with unlimited budgets ...

Nah,

If I was rich, I'd have one, and it'd be in matt black and have laser turrets on it.............

...........and I'd have my own island, and beer would come out the taps, and I'd have an invisibility cloak and.........

@A1gss. I must disagree. I think it looks very "Bauhaus"actually, which is recognised as one of Germany's/Europe's greatest contributions to Modern design and culture in the last 150 years.

I also like the J-class. In fact I prefer the classic style of boat, both powered and sail over modern plastic tubs any day. But each to his own. (just like all the differing bong levels of FFRRs I guess) Thumbs Up

I bet his wife has! Mr. Green

I also think it looks absurdly ugly. Not at all well-proportioned. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
