hi, a friend of mine in auz has been having a few probs with his car 2003 V8 4.4 Petrol. the car runs fine,it will tick over for as long as you leave it and shows no signs of over heating, it drives great and again will not over heat but when he turns off the car it will dump a couple of pints of water out of the expansion tank cap.
now he tells me he has a 140 cap on it. now i know over here we have the 280 cap but the dealers say only 140 or 200 caps are available.
do you think this could be the problem,as i say it runs great and looses no water untill switched of.

The 280 are actually 200s. If you look under it (smal bit that goes into tank) it has 200 on it. I would get that changed first. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

If something can't be fixed with a hammer....... You have yourself an electrical fault!
