You won't get 10 litres out, possibly 5 or 6 maximum

That's why LR do the double flush. 5 litres changed. Drive it a bit. Another 5 litres changed.

Another solution is to have it megaflushed. Kind of a dialysis machine which is plumbed in line with the cooler. Run engine in Park and watch the fluid get changed. I had this done on my old D3 and it made a real difference to the gearchanges. Similar money to the LR parts cost to have it done, except the labour effectively comes free. Being of the lazy-old-git gene pool I favour anything where I don't have to get involved.
