Might've been me. You can pick up the parts from BMW - you'll need a cradle for the 4/4s.

For me I'd be happy with just the adapter part so I could put a dock extension cable on it and have a loose dock connector next the to gearstick as its just so much easier to quickly plug it in when you have a case to protect it normal docks just don't work FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

We have this discussion at home all the time as all the family has iPhones (I can already imagine what some people are thinking... ) and we have various dock devices (stereo, chargers, etc) around the house - none of which work with cases. But then again, iPhones are not terribly robust when dropped. Then again, iPhones are aesthetically pleasing devices and most cases don't help the aesthetics. Then again... RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

is the iphone 3 different in size to iphone 4? i have thought for a while that the BMW cradles should fit, but didn't want to spend lots of money and find out it doesn't. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

That's why I asked if the part number 84212199389 (BMW) works for the iPhone 4/4S, because I believe there is a different part for the iPhone 3, and I'm still unsure if this works out of the box and with the existing wiring on the RR
