It was on certain spec models and markets.

I think it was only on th Vogue spec in the UK, and was an option on the lesser specs such as HSE and SE.

Not sure about export markets. Discovery 4 HSE

So would it have been standard on a 2008 UK spec Vogue?

it was available as an extra on FFRR when they had the touch screen, it was developed 2002 but had compatibility issues with the ibus system, my mate had an 04 pre touch screen with it fitted but was missing the cam when he bought it and after getting a replacement found it still didn't work.....he was told by the dealership that it is all wired in but will never work as the pre touch screen can not communicate with it. i bet some one has worked out how to get it working....

It should be standard on an 08 plate Vogue as far as I know. Mine is an 08MY 57 plate Vogue SE and has it, my previous car was an 06MY 05 reg Vogue and that had it.

That's not to say though that it was not temporarily deleted from the spec sheet and then reintroduced. This has been done with other aspects such as the Rear Seat Entertainment on the Vogue SE for example.

If you open the top glovebox does it have the venturecam charging bracket on the right hand side next to the CD changer?

if you go to the 4wd options on the centre screen is there an icon for venturecam? If so and you press it does anything happen? Discovery 4 HSE

My 08 Vogue SE didn't have one.

Apparently you can not use the Venture Cam at the same time as making a phone call via Bluetooth (or so a salesman told me )

hi yes thats right but you can use up to 16 cams at once V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
