"Nav on the go"

I am being ignorant - today only!

Lots of talk about "nav on the go" that can be enabled with IID tool etc.

I thought the whole point of satnav was that it worked "on the go"

Someone save me from oblivion? .

'enter destination on the go' might be a better way of saying it...the newer nav discs [2010/11/12] block out this feature via nav firmware ...you still have the ability to enter your home or preset destinations whilst travelling.. ... - .- -.

Thanks stan. I think I can (or my passenger can) do this on my old (useless so some say) '02 Mk3 satnav? .
