A quote on the exact tyres alone came out at £694 - so saved £50 and got a brand new set of 2010 alloys in with the deal - couldnt believe it

For those interested, he said he had a number of sets of these wheels in stock

I second that.

The wheels have arrived in as new condition, will get them fitted tomorrow.

So 4 brand new 2010 OEM Vogue alloys already fitted and balanced with 4 new Pirelli's for £699!!!! Bargain.

Good Question:

I bought the Vredestein Wintrac 4xtreme partially for their XL side wall quality and ability to be run at lower than normal pressures further improving the ride.

However having looked at the car sticker the correct "Normal" one/two person + kids pressure is 33 Front and 36 back. That is what I am currently running. In the US they recommend 42 (door sticker) all round as apparently LR believe most US drivers will not adjust there pressures to conditions.

I am going on holiday to the Alps tomorrow and will pump up the tyres to 36 Front 42 back as per the fully loaded recommendation on the UK TDV8 door sticker.

Well wheels all fitted and the car is running smooth. Much more settled ride than the 22's and the car doesn't look too bad with new alloys.
