2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver
1 Owner Vs 2 Owners

Quick hypothetical question.

On a c18 month old Vogue, would this make a lot of difference to the expected price?

Cheers Smile

depends who the first owner is, if it was a dealer registered vehicle, then no not much difference as these are usually registered as a Demo but in actual fact are a hack for the Dealer Principal or Managing Director... and then sold off after 3 to 4k miles.

If it was two private owners then I would be a little wary and to me it would drop the desirability by a couple of Łk on an 18 month old vehicle.

I'd want to know why the car had changed hands twice in 18 months but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Some very wealthy people buy them and get bored quickly, moving onto something else, some buy them but realise a 4wd is not for them, some just can't afford to keep them. Contact the dealers it's been serviced by and ask what work it's been in for. Discovery 4 HSE

What he said ^
People buy them on a whim and load them up with all the bells and whistles, then once the novelty has worn off they hand it back to the dealer. Most are financed so they just take it back and walk away. I had a BMW convertible once that was subject to this scenario. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Thanks for the input.

I guess at, say, 3-4 years old, the issue falls away anyway?

I've seen this often with big engined cars or performance cars,

Down to running costs I'd say is the reason. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**
