Range Rover Allegiance

Anyone else get a card through the post about this? Mine came from Shields Land Rover along the road from me.

One of their offers is a £120 economy service. Might be handy to keep the stamps up to date in the old service booklet :-

ECONOMY Service - ONLY £120

As a loyal customer of ours we would like to offer you an economy service, including an oil and filter change as well as a 32 point check for only £120. Peace of mind comes for free.

We provide the best service possible when dealing with your vehicle. Our manufacturer approved technicians have the experience, knowledge and skills to surpass all others.

This cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Vehicle must be aged 4 years or over to be eligible for this offer. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Yeah, looking at the offers, it's almost too good to be true :-

Free s/w updates (excluding nav and phone)
25% off servicing
50% off MOTs

etc etc

Must be a catch somewhere, or am I being cynical? Whistle Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

They'll find a million things wrong with your FFRR when they do the 32 point health check and hope you give them the go-ahead to repair it

MB offer free health checks on a regular basis, same sort of idea.

Yeah, that would also apply to the MOT I bet, but as long as you say no, I can't see a down side? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey

Got mine from T&C with these offers which seem to vary by dealership.

15% on Parts
£50 off Land Rover Gear and £50 off accessory labour
15% discount on battery, exhaust, clutch and tyre purchases
Air Conditioning service for only £65
5% Discount on Extended Warranties
Free MOT Tests*
3rd Allegiance Service receives £50 discount
4th Allegiance Service receives £75 discount

Looks like a genuine offer to me as I appreciate any reduction in costs so I didn't put it through the shredder. Rolling with laughter

Wish I was rich enough to say no thanks I don't want 15% off the servicing bill, just charge me the full price. Whistle

The cards apparently come from Land Rover not your dealer.

"Loyalty or commitment of a subordinate to a superior or of an individual to a group or cause."

So which way round is that then ? Twisted Evil .

Not being flippant but last service in June from LR dealership cost me £400+ can't remember exact cost , but local garage with whom I got to know would do the same service using LR parts for £234 ... So the 15% saving is out the window Thumbs Up

Seems ok to me. I saw someone else had there's serviced in Nottingham by the main dealer for £50 more than the Indy which seems cheap to me. The warranty I've purchased includes wear and tear and has no limit on labour cost so I'm thinking of using the local main dealer for my SC. Am I wrong????? 07MY SC VSE (on its way)

The list of previous cars is long & some are boring there has been two RRC's and a very pimped hilux

I got one from Pentland in Edinburgh when I bought the car in December.

Already had a Pentland Loyalty card which was superseded by the new one but they still sent me a cheque for buying the new car.

Well if anyone gets one and doesnt want to use it could i nab it then as i would quite happily pay the £120 for the oil service as the oil alone is about £50 plus the hassle of going under and removing the shields and then putting them all back plus free updates...

Even if i just did it for the official services and stuck to the interim(i do half milage services anyway) ones myself it would still help with the stamps Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
