2006 Range Rover SC vs 2007 Range Rover SC

Hi everybody!

I was considering getting a RR Sport, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a FFRR very soon! probably next month!

So, I found a 2006 RR SC, with very low miles (27k miles), and fully loaded! RES, piano black wood, etc etc and for a very reasonable price! 34.000 USD (24.000 EUR or 21.000 GBP) (I plan on buying the vehicle in the US, and import it)

However , I love very much the 2007 interior! But the cheapest 2007 RR SC I've found is 44.000 USD (33.000 EUR or 28 GBP) and it has 52.000 miles on it! (The vehicle is fully loaded)

Apart from the new terrain response, is there much more on the 2007 model, that is worth that difference in price? or not?

Thanks in advance!

(as you can see, prices in the US, are pretty cheap) 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

Mate some may disagree but there to me there is not much of difference among those two. We have had an MY02 which was pretty much the same as the later MY06 (apart from the touch screen). Now we have MY09 which has compared to the MY06 terrain response and slightly updated interior (location of the vents). Other then that not much difference really.

ohhh, I completely forgot - the MY09 has a digital TV whereas the other didn't Rolling with laughter

In my opinion you should go to the 2007my.

2006my is still a bit of a work in progress car. If you search the forum there are some issues, bluetooth, cameras, ipod, etc... that are not fully integrated with the car like a 2007.

Besides, nov 2006 (2007 my) to nov 2007 (start of 2008 my) produced some good cars. At least viewing through the forums there aren't many lemons on this particular year. 2008 has produced some big lemons....

ahh, also, the seats are different on the 2007

I like more the 2007 MY myself!

However, I wanted to know if a car with 50000 + miles is reliable! I've always bought cars up to 25-30 miles and drove them for like another 10000 miles! I don't know if there's any reliability problems after 50000 miles! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

My last one had 91,000 miles and was still running like a dream. Ergo, 50,000 has plenty of life left in it. Discovery 4 HSE

+1 - what he said

The engines in most modern cars are a lot more durable than cars of 20 years ago.
