suspension woes

been having trouble with my 10 month old tdv8 4.4 where the suspension goes dormant and a warning comes up on dash saying normal height only available and none of the suspension buttons work
been in to the clowns at stratstone 3 times now
yesterday said it was a relay to the compressor.. didn't have one but swopped from new car just come in ...
on driving home same fault occures.
spoke to the clowns again this morning
they want to try a new compressor , part no LRO33311, low and behold on back order at LR
surprise surprise Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
they dont know when will be available

oh also, took them since september 2011 to replace the dropping bottom glovebox..
i'm begining to think i should have known better with the last L322 faults i had consistently that they couldn't fix
they say you get wiser with age, but i'm not so sure Whistle Whistle

I have had a very similar issue, kept loosing height options (Normal height only available), it was with Stratstones Newport Pagnall for a week, but they solved it by fitting a new compressor, I have to say they were very helpful, supplied a Disco 4, whilst they had the vechile, rang everyday to let me know what was happening. The delay was down to LR rather than the dealer, a control unit was on back order, then the compressor. But all sorted.

DId the OP get this sorted?

We had the same warning this morning on our 17 month old 4.4 TDV8. It cleared on start up, may just be a 'unique' feature but would be good to know if it was the compressor also. Thumbs Up

Cheers,

G

Sorry, but I don't know what OP is.

My issue was sorted once the compressor was replaced.

Fullfat in at the dealers today and it too needs a new compressor.

It is covered by the warranty and they don't seem to be on back order any more as they are getting one in tomorrow for us.
