track control arm

it appears i need to replace either the bushes or the whole track control arms.

so if anyone has done this job , how difficult is it to just replace the bush rather than the whole arm.

part numbers to help are, RBX000200 for the bush and RBJ000120/RBJ000130 [right and left hand] ... - .- -.

Do you mean track control arm (steering) or toe control arm, stan ? (Don't have part number info to hand).

Think most have suggested it is easier in the long run to replace the whole arm, unless you have the right tool to extract te bush .

a few names for this part but its the 'tie rod' or 'track control arm' or 'front suspension arm'

i think maybe you might be right in respect of replacing the whole arm rather than just the bush..from reading on here , bushes can be Censored to get out... ... - .- -.

It's the top picture Joe but the rear arm number 7 in the image

Stan, easy enough job and you would be as well changing the bottom balljoints while you are at it

Scotland 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Oslo Blue

Replaced this arm on my FFRR a few weeks ago, the nuts were extremely tight but once these were loose the whole job took 30 mins. You can just see the arm in the photo below. It didn't cure the knocking noise though, it turned out to be track rod ends even though I could find no play in them. I've taken photo's of the job & I'll post it as soon as I get a chance.

Ps: the tracking is not affected by the replacement of the arm you describe Stan, so no traacking required..
