Well, I'm happy enough changing the oil and filters again in a year or 8,000 miles, but I'd rather tell the car it's been done than leave it and find it's telling me it needs serviced when I may have just done one if I hadn't reset it.

Tried restetting the service indicator on my 07 3.6 Range Rover but no good with the mileage reset and door open etc etc. Presume you need to plug it in? |

I’ve been considering this since acquiring a 2010 model.

I just have my 2006 AJV8 serviced every 12,000 miles or every year whichever is first (normally around 10,000 miles) but have never had any service message comeup in the 5 years / 62,000 miles I have owned it. Is it possible that a P/O has turned off teh service indicator somehow? There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
