France 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue
Pyrenees Offroad

Started a 1000km trip across the Spanish Pyrenees.

Some stunning scenery and interesting routes.

You can follow the route at:
http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/v...bNgeSCHqGD

I'll try and upload some photos soon as I can

Would highly recommend it to anyone, it should take about 7 to 10 days. The route is mapped out on a road book

Right let's see if I can upload photos from an iPad. Rolling Eyes

A few photos, they really don't do it justice.

There were a few difficult sections, difficult to see in the photos, but the traction control system even on the 2003 model is very good. Even climbing on loose gravel it very rarely lost traction. Didn't even get to use the winch.

I was always a fan of beam axle on previos 110s, P38s and Discoverys but I have to say the independent suspension is far better.

If anyone fancied a tour of the Pyrenees and testing their RR then I recommend it. Good tyres would be my only recommendation, they take a hammering on the tracks and sharp rocks. The MTRs have a few scars on them. We did come across an RR Sport with a flat, he only had road tyres on and they were well worn. In fact we only saw 3 vehicles on the off road section.

A few more photos.

It's hard to make out on the photos, but at the edge of a lot of the tracks was a vertical drop, made for an interesting time when SWMBO was driving. The little one in the back oblivious to it all.
