Does anyone know if you can buy Zambezi Silver door handle covers? Mine are absolutely minging and I'd like to make them look a bit sweeter.

Some fool had put the nastly bling chrome handle covers on and the glue has taken a lot of the finish off the original handles underneath.

Any suggestions most welcome.

At least your previous owner popped the chrome handles on because he loved his car and wanted to improve it. He was simply guilty of having differing taste from you.

The previous owner of my P38 removed the battery, and all its securing clamps and fittings, dropping-in something the size of a PP9 battery instead. And by "dropping-in", I mean just that. It was just sat there, unsecured by anything (well, apart from the poz & neg clamps!). Now that wasn't a divergence of taste, that was bonkers! 2003 4.4 HSE Epsom Green / Sand. Lovely!

powerfuluk or ebay have the answers - usually original bonatti grey, stainless steel, black, or chrome .

I have brushed stainless covers on my silver rangey as the burnel was S**gged,

this way I get not chrome plastic, but nice metal feel, but soft shine, good fit

Think one of the guys on here (might be Daveo??) bought replacement grey handles from LR for about £40 or £50 for the set? Not covers, but complete outer pull handles
