Car won't start and now won't open

Hi, looking for some help here. I tried to start the car but when I turned the key, it just made a clicking sound. I left it for a while and when I tried again, the key couldn't open the car. Neither by the remote or by physically using the key.

Any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Cheers
M

Cheers. Any idea about how to get into the car as the key doesn't appear to be able to open it.

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

It surprises me that the drivers door won't open with the key. I put the car away a while ago and disconnected the battery, locked the door with the key and opened it again 4 weeks later. The central locking won't work but the key/lock are mechanical and should open. If not then maybe the mechanism of the lock inside the door is f-ed. Suggest to get LR assistance to look at it then or the AA.
Good luck and keep us posted please. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
