Grey plastic trim in sidesteps.

Mine has a crack in it on the drivers side, its probably not noticeable to the rest of the world buy you know how it is Shocked

Simple question do these just pull off, and if so is it upwards, downwards or straight out?

I know you can get replacements but a bit of epoxy on the back might be all it needs. Geoff

They are screwed on the whole length of the step... About every 4-6" but they normally rust into the step...

Hi, just seen this post. I repaired mine a few weeks ago, it wasnt too bad to get the screws out, they go into nylon bushes so not too corroded.

Like you mention, epoxy repair across the back of the crack, sand and fill, then two coats of titanium silver. Or Brunel grey, if you prefer to match original.

The strips are avilable through Dan at Duckworths for £62 plus vat, or are on the Bay at £90 a pair.

Having done this now and repainted - it was all pretty simple - I think they may look better black. Has anyone done this and could share a photo?
Thumbs Up Geoff
