Hi Guys,

May I ask whats the difference between West Minster Edition and Vogue SE edition for 4.4 TDV8? I thought WM is a higher spec edition but someone told me Vogue SE is higher Spec.
Please advice.

Westminster was introduced in February 2012 and replaced Vogue and Vogue SE.

Westminster has higher levels of standard equipment than Vogue SE and is a newer derivative but the seats in the Vogue SE are the same as the Autobiography i.e. semi-analine leather with contrast stitching rather than oxford leather with contrast piping.

STANDARD spec is higher than Vogue SE with the exception of the seats. It could well be the optional equipment on the Vogue SE being offered to you made it better.

I would personally choose a Vogue SE over a Westminster.

It's interesting that they've added these few things, yet done away with the semi-aniline.
Perhaps they thought no one would buy the AB if the westy had them ?

In my opinion you need to try both seats in the SE & Westminster, then you'll feel the difference. Some prefer the oxford, some prefer semi aniline, but they are quite different so well worth checking to see what you like best.
When I was buying mine, it really was only the seats that sold it to me. I was happy with the vogue (& moreso the lower price) but didn't like the seats, so went for the SE.

Does the westminster have adaptive cruise as standard too ? The vogue only had normal cruise, whereas the se had the adaptive. Not something I was worried about having until I got it and it is great

Jees, I was just pricing up a Westminster & to get the SE wheels that were standard you have to pay an extra £1400 !
You also can't even choose a wood colour inside anymore

Aha, adaptive is also an add on @ £1,430

Overall, I'm afraid I have to say the standard westminster is not as high spec as an SE then - sorry

The only thing probably worth having is the dual view if that's standard. Mind you I paid about £600 for it, but wife's only used it about once

The seats are made for Jaguar Land Rover by Lear so maybe that just wanted to simplify things on what is a run out model . 2008 MY Supercharged
