United States 2005 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Chawton White
Diamond Jubilee

Just watched the last part of the Diamond Jubilee.
Prince Charles thanked the "600 technicians, behind the scenes".
Thank YOU, Prince Charles!
I'm one of those guys.
No, I wasn't on that gig.
The biggest event I've ever produced was a Paul Anka performance for less than 1,000 people.
Still, those are my "brothers", those techs.

I don't know exactly what to say to you Brits on this occasion.
Hail Brittannia?
God Save The Queen?
Happy Diamond Jubilee?

Any or all of the above, Britain did herself proud today. Thumbs Up Jim

I thought that was a nice comment too, Charles may be a little bit of a "dopey toff" to most people, but at least he showed the civility and humbleness of a true royal. It's the attitudes of the real royals that really separate them from the landed gentry and pretenders in this country.

I totally agree, it was nice and civilised and made me proud to be British. Saw the fireworks at the end of the concert at the end of my street. The BBC coverage was terrible, but the event was well put together. Tom

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

We watched it from the comforts of our Scottish holiday home.

We decorated it, subtle-fashion, and had a very British tea party with Pimms and fine British champagne.

If ever there was a time to feel terribly proud of this country and its heritage, that was it. Si. <This is my name.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
