hi guys ive had a little play in my steering tecently so replaced the track rod ends , still got play sooo seked a little advice from parts man at dealer (hes very knowledgeable) and he came out had a look and play and pointed out were my play is coming from which is the track rod joint which is the part between the rack and the track rod end .
apparently he said its a common problem and they sell a few sooo my question is has anybody fitted these and if so is it as easy as it looks to replace many thanks guys  onto no6 Range Rover

ive got the big workshop manual thats about 800 odd pages long as a pdf

as for rave i need to get some discs so i can burn it to disc  onto no6 Range Rover

RAVE is just a PDF workshop manual. Doesn't it detail in that how to remove and refit? Discovery 4 HSE

picked up my new track rod joints today and they are lovely and tight and shiny almost a shame to fit them oh well happy happy joy joy saturday morning fun  onto no6 Range Rover

they big black end is the bit that screws into the steering rack it also sits inside the steering gaiter aswell and the long thin chrome end screws into the ball joint
