difference between engines in bmw745i and range rover 4.4 v8

Does anyone on here know what differences there are between the engines of the 2002 bmw 745i and the range rover v8 as the 745i power output is indicated as 245kW and 450Nm and range rover 210kW and 440Nm. The displacement of the 2 engines are exactly the same. Could the difference be because of differences in exhaust system, engine management system, or something else.

Possible different seals etc to help against water ingress and such like....... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

The bm's output is 245kW@6100rpm and 450Nm@3600rpm whilst rr is 210kW@5400rpm and 440Nm@3600rpm - so torque for bmw is higher at same revs as rr whilst power is 35kW more for bmw t higher revs. Would like to explore how to get some of that power in the rr if the cost is not too exorbitant.

Thus far cats are removed and due to upgrade to 2006 front end had to put cone air filter in, so that part is covered.
