Yes and 1000kms = 621.371192 miles

We're doomed, we're all doomed because of 0.621370955 of a mile Laughing Laughing

Or, since were into the decimals, 621 miles = 999.4026240000001 km Razz

That's quite impressive, actually. I know the TDV8 is better on fuel than the TD6, but I very rarely see a range of 1000kms - and I assume the fuel tank stayed the same.

Then again, I do this quite often (when traffic allows, all the time) which really does not help the range...

Steve,

Interesting that my TDV8 has diesel written under the gauge and the TD6 (I assume) doesn't. I wonder if they really thought the V8 burble would confuse people - along with the 'you can't put petrol in this' gizmo Smile

I have had a blast in mine on an airfield - and wow...does it go. Looking forward to a trip to Poland soon, so will have a blast on the Autobahn Very Happy Land Rover Addict

Yeaaahhh - the TDV8 is nice... We (SWMBO&I) are going to wait and see what the L405 is like. The TD6 is moving up there in the miles (prolly hard to read but I topped 260k km's yesterday). We drive it quite a bit/year. So a new car is not too far off. If the L405 doesn't appeal to us, it will def be a TDV8.

Interesting that you're going to Poland. Blasting a diesel down the 'Bahn at high RPMs and (in theory) cleaning carbon deposits and injectors is known as a 'Polish-tune' around here... Laughing

I believe that there a more diesels in mainland Europe - maybe they thought it unnecessary to remind us. Or maybe it was experience Shocked

Took the SC there (Warsaw) - 2100 miles at 21mpg, hoping the TDV8 will top that big style! Land Rover Addict

I've had a tdv8 upto the speed limiter a few times and reckon they could top 140+ with their gearing allowed... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Gearing in the TDV8 is the same as the SC, so limiter off (remap) = same top speed on fatter tyres (in my case) Land Rover Addict
