Interesting Rolo. Does yours come up with RANGE ROVER on the centre screen only or on the TFT display? Mine has the logo on the main screen and then on the TFT it has a picture of a sunset. |

I have 'Range Rover' on black on the centre screen and the dials in the TFT just appear, they don't fade or anything. When I switch off the ignition, i then get a Sunset, but no exciting exit graphics. |

Ohhh okay. I get the sunset coming on whenever I unlock the car along with the RR logo on the centre screen. When ignition switches off I just get the sunset. |

I do like the way the rev counter and speed are highlighted either side of the needles leaving the rest of the dials greyed out. Not much help for showing which song is being played on a CD I know, but a nice touch. |

You can change that in the settings menu so the full dials light up |

I wouldn't want to change the way it is, but I really must check all the settings to see what else is possible.

Thanks Joker, the Garage door Opener video looks slightly different to what I was doing. For a rolling code he pressed the button three times with receiver in learning mode, each time the light flashed twice. I think I was not pressing the button long enough each time, so will try again.

I thought my mobile phone might need updating as it's nearly 7 years old, it's a Sony Ericsson K750i by the way. A check on the internet says they have stopped offering any updates or help for such an old model. This attitude in calling a 7 year old out of date did annoy me as I spend an average of nearly 35p a month on calls and expected the phone to last well into the next century.
