England 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

Didnt realise it was an argument Shocked just thought i said i would stand corrected. I have never seen a UK spec car with them and never been offered any from LR for a sport but to avoid any confusion i can repeat once again i am happy to stand corrected Thumbs Up

UK brochure verification would confirm it better than "ads for sale" at dealers and other forums etc though

Yes Gazeillo is correct, these 18" wheels were fitted to the lowly spec Sport SE's, 19" were an option. Furthermore, one of the vehicles I have is sat outside in the yard with these wheels fitted - bought new and UK spec. You occasionally see a few of these ex sport 18" wheels offered for sale on ebay as most owners want 20", these are not recommended for FFRR as the tyre size ex Sport is 255/55/18 whereas for FFRR you need 255/60/18. They also stick out a few mm more on the FF than std fit 19 and 20" FF wheels the offset being different.

Quite and if you want further proof I actually looked at the SE with these wheels (and had the brochure) before opting for a brand new black/black HSE back in early 2005. (I was one of the first)

Search Ebay for RRS SE and you will see that just about every "SE" car for sale has those wheels as they were standard - who would retro fit them after all Laughing

I agree this is not an argument because its not speculation but in this case non arguable fact!!!

PS; I am sure you understand its frustrating to have to "sell" something/fact you know to be true. Thumbs Up

Iam still here

Hi Guys

Well that started something !

I have put a picture of the car in my gallery so hopefully it may help in identifying the wheels, personally I don't think they look right on the car!!

One thing I miss about the UK is the car prices, the TD6 in the picture is a 2002 model with 2 owners and approx 80,000 miles.Going for the equivalent of just over 20k.

Thanks for all the help

I think they look OK actually! I think they maybe from a Discovery2 as I have seen them many times.

They're not from a Discovery 2 they were an option alloy for the FFRR in the early days. I have seen a number of cars with them and know someone who had those wheels.

I'll see if I can dig out a picture of his car with them on. Not sure of the name of them though.

Here's some on ebay for sale:

I like the 18" look too. Would fit 18's rather than 20's any day but am very happy with my 19"s.

RE the discussion on whether the 2005 RRS SE had 18" as standard (see earlier in this thread) I contacted an eBay member that sells RRS Brochurs etc.

Quote:
Hi, I can settle your dispute for final now. I found a 2005 RRS brochure which details full specs. The SE model came as standard with 18" alloys and the 19's were on optional upgrade. If needed I can always scan the page for you.
