England 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
Any nice 03-05 Vogues for sale please?

Hello forum

As the title says - I'm looking for a very good condition full fat Vogue with as good a spec as I can find.

Up to about £85-90k miles although for an absolutely perfect car at the right price I guess I could go a little over.

I am leaning towards the 4.4 V8 petrol as I gather that the TDV6 can seem a little lack lustre and, the TDV8 is out of my budget.

Preferred colour is black or dark green with cream interior (very dark blue at a push). Most of the dark green ones I see seem to have the older style small wheels on which I'm not keen on.

BIG pluses would be rear entertainment system, removable tow bar and the extra 7 seat option (though I know these are rare).

If anyone hears or knows of one I would be grateful for a heads up - I am looking on PH / Auto Trader / ebay and have just found this forum, on which I have just missed CUE's absolutely perfect one Sad

Many thanks in advance.

Burriana with the bright yellow 348.......?

You're looking for EXACTLY the same specs I as am..........

Let me know how you get on with the extra seats as I'm trying to find another 'cheaper' solution.

That's a beauty but boy is it priced accordingly!

I have been looking at 04 HSEs at dealers for under £10k so my budget for an 03-05 is £8-11k. Aerodynamics are for those who cannot build engines - Enzo Ferrari

The one and only Smile That's going back a bit though, the Spider went in 2005 and I have had a red F348 and recently a Testarossa which I sold last week (I'm going to regret that).

Hope you're keeping well. Seven seats are not critical but would come in very handy a few times a year. They would have to be proper ones that fit flat into the floor though as load space with the children is more important.

Hi Al, long time no talk, I'm not sure if you remeber me, I had a silver 360 after my red 355 spider. anyway I've not been paid just yet, so I'll give you a shout if anything hinders the sale, as it's obviosuly only a done deal when I get the cash but yes it's looking like it'll go.

Funny thing is I've had it up for sale for a good few weeks, and only found real interes in last couple, but I'm sure there are others out there also good.

It seems 11k Retail 8.5k private is the 03 money with those miles.

Hope that helps. all smug in my new plug!

Cheers Alan - that is one on my watch list but it is a bit off putting when they can't be bothered to clean both sides of the car before photographing and only put a couple of not very good interior shots up, yet show about three shots of exactly the same exterior angle!

CUE - I certainly recognised your profile name as soon as I saw it Smile

Your buyer won't pull out at that price! It's not Sian (LadyS) of PH that's bought it is it? I know she was looking. Aerodynamics are for those who cannot build engines - Enzo Ferrari

It did strike me as odd too, since they usually prep their cars very well.

Jim or David there are very obliging and if you called them, I'm sure they would be happy to take some more pics for you.

My "old" SC's for sale on there too! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Reading another thread on after market rear entertainment I had a thought.

Will 03-05 cars TVs work now everything has gone digital, or were the receivers digital to start with?

Thanks,

Sorry: just wrote this in your thread instead of here!

I was looking at yours earlier Boffhead but, although it looks perfect from outside, the black interior does nothing for me I'm afraid.

And I think I am set on the V8 unless someone can tell me that the TDV6 is actually a lot better than I have been led to believe.

I wish all these "not 10/10 but certainly worth a look" cars weren't in the far flung corners of the country. There's a nice one in Aberdeen and now you're in Norfolk! Aerodynamics are for those who cannot build engines - Enzo Ferrari

Mine RSE is aftermarket, Alpine + Clarion & nope the TV doesn't work anymore, supposedly quite simple to fix , just need a digital receiver.TBH never really used them as you would have to constantly re-tune on a longer journey, due to changing transmitters! DVD on for the bairn & she's happy!

Hi Al,

I went down to see Simon (Lambo) last weekend which was a blast from the past.

I sold my F355 Spider about 5 years ago and was just about to buy a Gallardo when I put everything into a building houses instead........been interesting for the last few years to say the least. The drop in price in just 1 house would have put an '05 Gallardo on the drive and I built 4.....*ouch*

The RR seems a pretty good bet at the minute but my list of wants are growing everyday to the point that the car I'm after isn't out there. I was offered a cracking looking petrol/LPG Autobiography by a forum member (Dolphinboy), but it was the dark green colour which I'm not 100% struck on.

As far as the TV is concerned I think you can get a freeview module now. Can't remember where I saw it, probably ebay.

Damn - pretty much what I'm after too lol. seen a few but they all have small issues - right interior / wrong exterior colour / leather trim in bad condition / too many dints on the outside .... can't find the right combination locally in good all round condition.. cheers
