Hi Ivor, yes, he's in Hadlow, so quite close. I'll ask him and PM you, lost my phone at the weekend and I'm not sure whether I still have your number or not! |

Or find an extra £2k and get a good "S" if you buy private and have it checked over. £10k is a little low for a good one IMHO. |

Absolutely. Good, late D2's are fetching more than 10k in all honesty. You "CAN" find a D3 under 10k in the same way as you "CAN" have a vasectomy without anaethetic. Probably wouldn't want to though. For 10k you can expect a base spec (coil sprung, 5 seat) nail which has done more miles than the Starship Enterprise. Anything better than that starts at about 12k. Expect to pay 15-18 for a decent SE with sub 100k on the clock. Manual box keeps prices down a bit, but not much. Also, get any prospective purchase appraised by a decent mechanic. Stuff like faulty park brakes, ERB bushes, etc all add up to thousands, not hundreds. Oh, and be aware of the big belt service at 105k or 7 years. It's really easy to buy a D3 which needs 3 or 4 grand spending on it. |

Maybe get a basic FL2 for that price as just within tow cap for it TBH.

Thanks again guys, mz, that's properly useful detail. I really did think he was pushing his luck at that money.

Just agreed to sell this one at £14k which is less than I wanted but its a good example of an excellent condition D3 "S" Auto with Heated Seats/Winter Pack etc:
