Wondering if anyone had one of these apart from the ones on ebay???

Just would prefer one in Epsom Green so I dont have to go the removing lettering and repainting route. Though i imagine this is unlikely! Looks like mine has blocked drainage for sometime and so the bottom edge is corroded from inside out.

Out of interest do they all have the hole for the camera???

Anyone know of anyone breaking a green one???

I am in exactly the same position, and Epsom green ironically also.

I ended up buying a tonga green upper tailgate off the bay, from a 2008 model and will use a decent bodyshop to prep and paint.

Mine had a bit of rust starting from inside, and a bad filler job in the middle.

Couldn't do anything with it, so got another, with no rust and no previous repairs.

I got one with factory privacy glass in, when I needed clear, so will have to pay around £40 for the glass to be swapped.......it was the best tailgate..........

Unless you get the same batch code of epsom green, you cannot guarantee a perfect match, and would end up painting it anyway.

I'd have loved to get one and just swap it, just not 100% sure its actually achievable.

For reference, the upper tailgate will lay flat in the car with the rear seats down.....

IIRC mine was £150 to get repaired when it was in for some work a while back as it had only just started to show signs of going  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

Does anyone know the cause? Its weird that mine is only rusty on the right bottom edge and its only the right side that spews water when I open the boot in the rain but that all comes down along the right hand gutter rather than from the boot lid itself. And the drainage holes actually look ok when checked so not sure why its all rusty.
