if you dont get a tank from a ALPG Installer it may invalidate your insurance

i have a 90l tank in mine (max fills to 75l+)

i pay 74p pl atm should come soon due to summer months drop of about 4p off soon

i get easy 180 miles on daily short trips on good runs i get 230-250 this is from about 60-65l monitered over 4 year period

i am heavy footed

To get the boot floor panel to sit completely flat, I had to remove the spare wheel mounting - its a pressed piece spot welded to the floor of the well. I managed to remove the piece using a spot drill avoiding any damage to the well itself. Touched in with red lead after to be safe from rust. I placed some decent rubber blocks between the gas tank and the wheel well, to avoid vibration, before bolting it down.

I took most of the felt mat off the back of the boot floor panel as well. After that, it sits flat. On top of the boot floor, I have the thick rubber boot mat - no worries bout noise etc.

Gotta say, the LPG installer didnt do the best job of this aspect of the install - he left the panel proud of the floor- but it was easy to sort out as described above. No other worries with his work though.

i get about 200 miles round town in mine but filling up all the time is a pain im going to upgrade my tank which is easy to do

Doesn't seem much point in having an LPG system if only used on the motorway. I cant tell when mine has switched itself on without looking.

I recently changed the spark plugs to NGK Iridium LPG plugs and the MPG seemed to fall from about 200 miles per tank to around 150-160! I've also had a front end 2010 conversion done recently, involving a new air filter, so I reckon the best thing is to get a decent remap which hopefully will restore some of the lost MPG. Local tuners charge £150 for a mobile but bespoke service ( not a chip swap). Worth a punt, as the short range is driving me mad!

I was informed by a 'Chipping' company that they wouldn't remap an LPG converted car. Anyone any idea why that is?

I get 13/14 mpg local and 17/18 mpg on a run to Anglesey on dual(65/70mph) and single(40/60mph) carriageway roads.

I just had my sc 55 plate range converted recently pain in the but to set up still not running good for some reason urban mpg I am only getting 120 miles max on 75 litres is this correct u think guys? I think I need to find some 1 who knows how to set it up properly it's a Brc plug n drive system fitted with 2 vapourisers.

Something defo wrong there. A plug and drive SRC system should return 3 per litre not 1.6. What does it do to the gallon on petrol? Probably need restting on the gas base map.

I get between 200 and 220 miles out of 80 litres on a SC with prins.

On petrol on £30 about 50 miles[/code]

That's only about 10.5 per gallon on petrol. It suggests the car wants looking at before you do the gas.
