Latest Con from Insurance Company

Bought a personalised registration for my daughter for her 18th birthday.

Rang Insurers today to change it over.

This is a modification sir, there is a charge of £17:50.

(then tried to flog me breakdown cover that I already have Wink)

I am really not looking forward to renewal in 8 months time Big Cry

What next Question Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Just thought I'd share the latest insurance classic!

Moved from the S/C to the TDV8 and the premium has gone up by £130!

WTF!

When I queried it, the reason was that there are more claims on the TDV8 model than the S/C!
No Censored , Sherlock, considering they make up the vast majority of RR sales in the UK, but why should me as an individual have to pay for a statistical piece of nonsense? Censored Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Yours must have been high in the first place, either that or I'm getting conned!

The strange thing is, all the quotes I get from confused.com come in higher for the TDV8! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
