Been just over a week since the TD6 went in for gearbox surgery and I miss it.
I have had to make do with flying to work and driving SWMBO's Mini One back for out of town work and riding my BMW R1150GS for local work.
Planes just don't work for me due to to the amount of crap I travel with.
The Mini was a hoot but the CVT transmission stalls when going into drive or stopping in drive, anyone got any ideas
And bike is great on a nice day but is worse than planes for crap carrying, plus wearing extra layers due to winter setting in makes large me even larger
Fingers crossed I get the TD6 back early this week.

i understand what you mean about bikes.... when my car was last off the road i was doing 70 miles a day on my bike in the freezing cold, not funny..

needed to get up half hour early to get dressed too!! only thing that lasts half hour with the FFRR is the parking heater while i'm drinking my coffee..  Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
