connect it back to iTunes and do a full restore - should sort out any software problems |

Go into settings and disable iTunes Match - it's trying to store the songs on the PC and in the cloud and pull them from there instead of storing them on the device - it will also try to update the play count for each tune and app that is used. |

Graham - Her old password is working no problem, but it's just that it's always asking for it to be entered (every 2 - 3 minutes) Was that the same with you?

Johnte, let it run a back-up, then everything is saved (progress in games/emails/messages etc), then do the factory restore. This reinstalls the main software and settings, then you can 'restore' from the backup you have just made. iTunes will prompt you if you want to restore from a backup or if you want to set it up as a new iPod. |
