I used cheviot a couple of times when I had my D2, they were good in my opinion. There are more independents in Yorkshire than up your end.

Left messages for both Northern and Cheviot - no reply from either May have to try Les Potts in Sunderland - managed to find them by accident and seem to invest heavily in training their guys to deal specifically with LR. Anyone had any experience of them good or bad?? |

Stay well away from Northern 4x4 - you may end up with 2 vehicles, the front of one and the rear of the other They used to be Cragside (up Rothbury way and changed their name) and then bacame something else and then Northern 4x4.

Hi i went with Les Potts in then end. Left them a message on Sunday had a call 8.30am Monday - other 2 garages didnt bother replying anyway les picked car up from home (offered to leave his freelander keys) to use as courtesy car (didnt use). He's repaired various bits and tested water leaks on car - and will drop off today. All done in a day for just over a couple hundred quid so im very happy and will no doubt use going forward for anything to do with the FFRR |
