Well I went to several regular locksmiths u get in shopping centers and they had not got the equipment. So I found this place crothers.ie who had the special machine and it took 10 mins and cost 17 euro..He told me tho he can't accept any responsibility for any damage etc..then checked that it worked in door..happy days |

hi, i done this mod the end of last year using the BMW diamond key internals in to the flip key, still working well.i then found these people who do the key mentioned in the previous post..also bought one and found that it kept loosing its code, then the lock button on the circuit board stopped working, when i contacted them they would do nothing to help me. i have now fixed it with a new button,

make sure you buy the 433mhz and not the 315mhz as they will not work, my one has been working 5 months no probs at all, WORD OF WARNING, before you buy see if you can get in an email some form of warranty ,not that i think it will be any good, i bought 10 units and 3of them had probs straingt away and just found out last week one more has starting playing up,not charging, buttons not working and cant sync to car are some of the probs.

Timpson can do the keys if you have a blank to be cut, they just won't guarantee the work. The chap did it for me for free which was a bonus. Tom
