Those ebay ones look like the older elephant ears type of wing mirror, its hard to tell with only one poor quality shot. Maybe you should contact the seller for another side profile picture then we can tell. Discovery 4 HSE

Sorry - more questions - I think Im going to spray the chrome air intake grille on the bonnet - have found Java black aerosol paint and primer + laquer - how do I best prepare the cover for painting - its awfully shiny at the moment - a light dusting with sandpaper or will that ruin the appaearance - advice very gratefully received.... |

IMHO, a good going over with some P320 Silicon carbide (wet&dry) and a light in between coat sanding with either P600 or so, (maybe P320 if you're very gentle and the paint is well cured)

Last question....how do I remove the vent - a quick look earlier seems as if it simply clips onto the bonnet...anything I need to be wary of with washer jets etc....??

of course - be grateful if anyone thinks this is an especially good or bad idea!!! With the grill and mirrors painted the same black as the bodywork - I thought it would look rather nice....if the worst came to the worst, I guess I could order another intake grille...forgot to mention, Im also goign to paint the fog light surrounds - which again are chromed at the moment - partly as I dont like them, and partly becuase they have become chipped and scratched and are lookign very dull.....opions on a postcard please (and any advice on removing the grille of course)
